Mon, 19/03/2012 - 10:19 — xkcWe regret to inform you of the sad, premature demise of Dr. Ms. Bakhtawar Sethna, on Saturday, 3rd March, 2012.She served the college as a faculty member of the department of Geology since 1979. She was currently Head of Department at St. Xavier's College and the Chairperson of the Board of Studies in Geology at the Mumbai University.
We offer our condolences to Dr. Sam Sethna and to their daughter.

With a heavy heart we inform you of the sad demise of our beloved Dr. Ms. Yvonne Freitas, on 15th January 2012, after a brief illness.
She touched the lives and hearts of countless students of Microbiology, during the forty years she taught at St. Xavier’s. For several of those years, she was the Head of Department and also served as Vice Principal of the College.

Parent Teacher Meeting on 11th December, 2010

St. Xavier’s College is organising a special parent-teacher meeting for parents / guardians of first year students on Saturday 11th December 2010 at 2.45 pm. in the college hall. It is mandatory for at least one parent to attend the meeting. This will help you get a better feedback on your child’s / ward’s attendance and performance over the first semester and clarify the rules of promotion under autonomy.
A Joint collaboration between parents and teachers in the task of education is very important.
